By submitting content to The Wiener Library’s blog, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.
The contributor retains ownership of their submission. However, by submitting content, the contributor grants The Wiener Library permission to use it for any purpose including educational programmes, promotional materials, social media and exhibitions, in any media form and without compensation to the contributor, in perpetuity. If you do not wish to grant such rights to The Wiener Library, you may choose not to submit material to this project. Contact the Library if you have any questions.
The Wiener Library monitors all submitted content and is under no obligation to use the content you submit. We may also edit content for clarity or length.
The contributor is responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to publish copyrighted materials or previously unpublished materials owned by other persons, and must provide proper citations. By submitting materials to this website, you warrant that the work submitted:
- is your own work, and that you have the right to make it available to The Wiener Library
- does not infringe on any copyright law and that necessary permissions have been obtained
- Submission of materials to this website constitutes agreement on your part to indemnify The Wiener Library against all legal fees, damages and other legal expenses that may be incurred by The Wiener Library due to your breach of the above warranty.
Inclusion in the archive
Any content added to The Wiener Library’s blog may also be added to the permanent archive at the Library and made available to Readers. See our donation page to learn more about donating to the archive.
The Wiener Library collects contact information to verify the author of each submission and to keep on record in case any questions arise regarding the contributor’s submission. The Wiener Library will display a name and organisational affiliation of your choosing with each blog post. The Wiener Library reserves the right to contact the contributor regarding the subject matter of his or her submission, but will not use the contributor’s personal details without permission for any other purpose.
