Submit a Story

We are very pleased that you have decided to submit a story to The Wiener Library’s Stories of Rescue blog!

By submitting a story to the blog, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

Before you submit your story, make sure you have the following:

  • Your story of rescue, including the names of the rescuers or rescued; the maximum length is 350 words
  • A 300ppi image to illustrate the story (be sure you are allowed to distribute this image — see our Terms and Conditions)
  • Your name and organisation, if applicable
  • An line or two about your relationship to the story – were your relatives involved, do you have a special interest in the story? – or about the archive or institution where you found the story

If your entry is missing any of these elements, it may not be considered for publication. You are welcome to use the posts already on the blog as templates for your post.

Email your submission to info @ (delete the spaces).

Once we have received your story, you will get a confirmation email and we will get it up on the blog as soon as possible.
